Vet-Smart Antigen Test: FHV/FCV

Immunoassay test kit for the detection of Feline Herpesvirus (FHV) antigen and Feline Calicivirus (FCV) antigen in feline ocular and nasal secretions.

Testing Procedure

1. Collect samples from the conjunctival area and nasal cavity of the cat using a sterile swab.

2. Immerse the swab in the tube containing the diluent and rotate it thoroughly to ensure the sample is fully mixed with the diluent.

3. Remove the test cassette from its sealed pouch and place it on a flat, dry surface.

4. Using the dropper provided, transfer the sample into the specimen well (S) of the test cassette. Add 3 drops to each specimen well and start the timer.

5. Read the test results at 5 minutes.
