Immunoassay test kit for the detection of antibodies against Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and antigens of Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) in cats. The test can be performed using feline whole blood, serum, or plasma samples.
Test Procedure
1. Collect a blood sample from the cat. Whole blood, serum, or plasma may be used for testing. Serum and plasma samples can be stored at 2–8°C for up to 3 days.
2. Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and place it on a clean, dry, and level surface.
3. Using the plastic dropper provided in the kit, dispense 1 drop of sample into each sample well (S) on the test cassette. Then add 2 drops of diluent into each well and start the timer immediately.
4. Read the test results at 5–10 minutes.
