Vet-Smart Antigen Test FPV Immunoassay test kit for the detection of Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV) antigen in feline fecal samples.

Directions for use

1. Collect a fecal sample from the cat using cotton swab directly from the rectum, or use a freshly voided fecal sample.
2.Insert the swab into the tube containing diluent solution and mix thoroughly to release as much sample material as possible.
3.Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and place it on a clean, dry, and level surface.
4.Using the provided dropper, collect the prepared sample and dispense 3 drops into sample hole on the test cassette, then start the timer immediately.
5. Read the test result at 5 - 10 minutes.

INTERPRETATION  

NEGATIVE :The presence of only one pink-rose colored band appears in the control region (C). No apparent pink-rose band appears in the test region (T).

POSITIVE : In addition to the control band (C), a clearly distinguishable band will also appears in the test region (T), no matter which band appear first, indicating presence of Feline Panleukopenia virus (FPV) antigen in the sample.

INVALID: No colored line appears in Control line Band (C), regardless of Test line band (T) appearance.
